So I had the contacts inside the driving lights cleaned so that both of them worked and 2 weeks later, the driver side one stopped working again. I replaced the bulb which must have been fine to begin with, (using an easier process which I'll describe below), and it still does not work. The passenger side one works fine and I remember reading a post a while back about a shorting problem. Can somebody please furnish me with the details of what gets shorted out?
Thanks,

By the way, here is the way I changed the bulb...
- First I unscrewed the driving light module with the 2 downward facing screws that have their heads exposed above and slightly forward of the driving light lense.
- Once you take these screws out, the module should fall inward slightly
- Unplug it if you like, but turn it around to unscrew the bulb cover on the module.
- Pop the cover off.
- Change the bulb (H3 55W) and screw the cap back on
- Open the hood, unscrew the cornering lamp assembly with one screw which attaches to the headlight assembly.
- Pull the cornering light out so that you can reach your hand down and hold the driving light module in place
- Now you can screw the first 2 external driving light screws back in.
- Put the cornering light back in, making sure to use the locating slots and tabs
- Screw the cornering light back in
- You're done without having had to remove any other covers under the fascia. This saves a lot of time. Other methods that I remember did not tell you to take the driving light out of position and I could not get to the bulb only by reaching down from the cornering light area upon removal.
