I was told at the dealer if I lock the car with the remote then unlock with the key or vice versa it will screw something up maybe with the alarm? Is there any truth to this? Reason is I am located in Upstate Ny and it is getting cold. So when I leave for work in the morning I start the Saab for my Fiancé and it is outside so I start it and lock the keys in it then she unlocks it. This is what I want to know, can I start the car then lock the doors by pushing the lock lever down and then she can open it with the remote or will she have to use the key. With the cars running you can not lock the doors with the remote. Any ideas.
