Idler pulley replaced- not too bad a job...

After reading Dean's post about replacing the lower pulley on my 94 SET, I was dreading the job this afternoon. Admittedly, there is NO room to get your hands around the assembly when you're reassembling. And the torx bolt that they give you as a replacement is utterly worthless. (Perhaps there's a special Saab torx tool that is small enough to get between the bolt and the approximately 1/2 inch of clearance to the fenderwell.) I reused the original bolt, and dug up a couple of washers, one of which was concave so that it fit well against the bearing shield. I used a screwdriver against the fenderwell to gently wedge the bolt in position, and gently turned it with a 13 mm. The first time, it started to cross thread. I gave up on the wrench, and managed to use one finger on both hands to spin the bolt into the female threaded mounting hole. After that I was good to go. Total time, about a half hour. What a difference the new pulley made. The old one was totally fried, with burned grease leaking out everywhere.
