Three rotten little jobs for Saab owners

I am getting all too good at these, and I would guess other owners have all encounted each of these three headaches at one time or another. But learning how to do these yourself can save some time and money. Each one of these activities are well documented in posts by fellow Saab owners. These are all things that never seem to be an issue with any other car, and Saab has made this a challenging task for the do it yourselfer. Beating these odds give one a real sense of accomplishment.
1. Washer pump replacement on 1994 900's, got this down to 30 minutes and only two skinned knuckles with minimal cursing. Cost- 24.00 for pump.
2. Fog lamp replacement, got this down to 45 minutes and usually do in conjunction with oil change, still lots of cursing. Cost- 1.95 for bulb. Someone in a recent post claimed to be able to do this by removing the side marker lamp in his 1997 model, but it does not work with the 1994 model as there is a little screw in the bottom of the lamp housing that keeps the housing from being turned upside down for bulb access.
3. Ventilation filter replacement, 15 minutes, one skinned knuckle, no cursing. Best to do this outdoors on a sunny day so you can see what you are doing. Cost- 24.00 for filter.
These are all things a Honda owner would not understand.
