4 Months of Ownership - long

I've now had my 97SET 5dr auto for a little over 4 months, purchased for $17,250 with 18k miles - what a great vehicle. No major problems to speak of, replaced the battery ($95 for a Sears Diehard), and just last week had a multitude of items fixed under warranty. The dealership replaced or fixed the following items: windshield washer nozzle, SID unit (burned out column of lights), new muffler - found a small leak. All this plus an oil and filter change and a new key for $68 small ones, and to toop it off they gave me a 2001 9-5 wagon as a loaner car for free.
This leads me to the only real question I have - driving the 9-5 really gave me reason to question the integrity and/or desirability of the front suspension on my 900SET. Botton line, in my opinion, either my car desperately needs new shocks and springs or the 9-5 suspension is miles ahead of the NG900's, or maybe both?? Specifically, I'm reffering to how my car handles rough pavement, it now feels like I'm drinving a car with 100K miles with worn out struts.
Any thoughts, is this something I should have the dealership attempt to solve, or should I go straight to aftermarket shocks and springs??
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

And another thing, I put Yokohama Guardex 720 snows with steel wheels on last month - this car is truly a wonder to drive on all sorts of winter conditions. Highly recommended!
