This has happened to me too, on my 95 900S. Apparently, water gets in the cable housing, causing the brake to stick. When it warms up, it releases. My mechanic told me that even if he replaced the cable, it would start sticking again in a couple of months. His advice: don't use the parking brake in cold weather. That served me well last winter. My current car, a 95 900SE Convertible, doesn't seem to have this problem.
