Ok,
So I have been dealing with Scott Saab for almost a year now with transmission problems. I finally had my 3rd (yes that's 3rd) transmission put in. This is all within less than a year. This particular time they forgot to punch in a radio code, which I did not have, so I had to make another trip to Pinellas Park to have them reset the radio. Not a huge deal, but today, I opened the hood to show my co-worker the new transmission and there sitting on top of it is one of the transmission bolts that didn't get tightened all they way and rattled out.
Every single time they work on my car they fail to put it back together correctly. They tell me that my transmission grinds because I have an after market ECU. They take forever to get anything done. The Saab Factory Rep tells me that occasional grinding while going into 3rd gear is "normal", and that no transmission is perfect. Blah what a mess..
=(
Big thumb down to Scott Saab
I realize most of you have no idea who I am or what I have been through in this last year. It is actually so bad that I met with a woman from the Saab corporation earlier this month, I was complaining about the local dealership and the poor service. She totally blew me off and said that the mechanics were all "Saab Certified Pro's" and that my car could not be in better hands, and basically anything that was wrong with my car was my fault. I have been to Scott Saab over 30 times in the last year, it is about a 1 hour trip for me each way as well. The sad part is that through all of that my car is STILL NOT FIXED CORRECTLY!
