Unless the rotor can be turned in the bearing it runs, there is a reasonable chance that the turning may not be true to the axis of rotation and cause pedal vibration which did not exist before. Unless the rotors are a) below min thickness or b) vibration in the pedal, leave the rotors on and DO NOT turn them. If either a or b exists, relpace them. Turning rotors is a money maker for the brake shops and also unscrupulous dealers/service shops. If the grooves are deep (rivets grinding into the rotors), it is probably better to replace the rotor, but I have also continued to use rotors in this shape (not below min) and not had a problem. YMMV.
