CD Upgrade to 97 900SE?

I am under agreement to purchase a 1997 900SE Turbo 5D Sedan from a dealer here in SE Pennsylvania. The car has everything I want except an in-dash CD player.
I am wondering whether I'd ultimately be better served by having the dealer install an OEM in-dash player/reciever (which, from what I've read here, may not be an exact match, given the age of the car), or buying an aftermarket model and having someone else -- who may or may not be familiar with this car -- do the install. It doesn't appear that any aftermarket brands will be an exact fit, so there would be some modification involved. My impression of the OEM model is that installation is a pretty simple swap-out, but price and performance are open questions (to me).
Anyone have any thoughts on the relative performance, price, aggravation involved of these two options? Any recommendations for specific aftermarket brands/models?
Thanks in advance,
