Sorry about your 9000. Are you sure you would prefer a 900? I believe all non-turbos are 2.3, but there is a significant performance difference ( I could not live with a 2.3 knowing the Turbo is available... ). I too believe you are better avoiding the V6. You can buy a center armrest from the dealer (http://www.saabcatalog.com) I think its about $100. Time for service means the car is due a mojor service. If the car is at a dealer it should be included. If privately, get a quote from a dealer as to what it will cost, and use it as a bargaining tool. An inspection is always advisable. I don't know much about the automatics, but I expect the manuals are better (NG 900s have better manual gearboxes than classic 900s). Most 900 Turbos are SE spec. There are a few 900 S turbos out there which have been the subject of some discussion on this board, they may have come south from Canada... they are far less likely to have leather... I believe all SE turbos have leather (certainly most do), it was an option on non-turbos. I dont know where in the country you are, but I know of a very good 1997 900 Turbo 5-spd for sale. I don't want to turn this Bulletin Board into an ad, but I presume Scott understands I am just offering more info on a car that is available that is of specific interest to you. If you are interested email me. Good luck.
