Tirerack would have used their nifty hunter balancing system, and would have detected out of roundness or other defects. You might phone them and ask for advice.
In any case, I think that you need to locate a tire dealer with the same hunter balancing machine and give that a go. That machine will detect if there is a tire or wheel defect.
If the tire is at fault, Tirerack will work with you on that, but don't put it off for a long time!
