Looking for a SAAB mechanic w/ a scanner in the NYC area

Hi,
I need a trustworthy SAAB mechanic with access to a scanner, who lives somewhere in the NYC area.
After my SRS warning light came on, the local SAAB dealer scanned the car and told me that I need a whole new SRS module. They then proceeded to ask for $160 over the retail price of a new module, and estimated 2 hours of labor, at $85 per hour, to install it. (I understand that it should take about half-an-hour.)
Thanks to the detailed responses of the members of this list to my prior question, I discovered that places like GoldWing sell used modules for $405, but now I'm not even sure that I need one, as the dealer who told me so is, obviously, not to be trusted. Before I spend hundreds on a module, I'd like to get the car scanned by a private mechanic; who knows, maybe the sensors have to be reset, or the wiring around the module is loose?
Any recommendations?
Thanks again to all who wrote in with suggestions last time,
Gennady
