I had to do it for my cdc635 changer. If I remember correctly, I unscrewed all the screws on the chassis that I thought were involved in holding the faceplate in place. Then, very carefully so you don't crack the plastic faceplate, dig in between the faceplate and the chassis with a screwdriver to dislodge the faceplate tabs that hold the faceplate to the chassis. Ease the dislodged cd back into the cartridge. Plug the changer back in and test functionality. Reassemble faceplate when satisfied.
