Bob,
Thanks for you advice further down about the clamshell clamps for the exhaust.
2 other questions:
1) Is it normal for sport exhaust to "pop" on deceleration? My motorcycle does this and I've been told that a little bit of this is normal due to it running lean at that point.
2) I've loosened and re-tightened several times but can't seem to get rid of a small exhaust leak where the first pipe of the sport exhaust meets the cat./reson. pipe. Any suggestions other than keep trying?
p.s. main reason i didn't like clamshells was the bolts were rusted on and took all my strength to get off. no air in my "garage"!
