From my '96 900S maintenance booklet QUOTE
FREE SERVICE
Camshaft Drive Belt (Timing Belt) 900 V6 Engine Only
The camshaft drive belt on 900 models with V6 engine is scheduled to be replaced at 35,000, 65,000 and 95,000 mile service intervals. Replacement of the belt and the labor associated with the replacement is free of charge and must be performed by an authorized Saab dealer. The remianing cost of the 35,000, 65,000 and 95,000 mile service(s) is the owner's responsibility.
END QUOTE
THe point to be argued - what else has to be done in those service(s). The service coupons refer to a list of recommended service operations. Noe it says "recommended" not "compulsory". I would therefore just ask for the oil to be changed and decline the rest of the recommended service operations.
