Bubbling paint on bumpers

Hi all
Looking for some advice on paint removal. The white paint on my rear bumper and spoiler is bubbling - lots of pin-head size and larger, all over the bumper & spoiler. Really annoying, and it has'nt been badly resprayed to my knowledge. Inevitably the stuff is gonna come off, and I'm tempted just to remove the paint and have plain black bumpers.
The question is: will it be OK to use paint stripper, or will it affect the plastic in any away? The stuff I thought about using is called Nitromors, though obviously I plan to read the blurb before applying and will test a bit beforehand. Just wondered if anyone else had tried paint removal on plastic before.
Many thanks
Brian D
