16 MPG??? 1996 900se /w 99000miles Posted by Nicholas [Email] (#2995) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Nicholas) on Thu, 13 Dec 2001 15:09:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Yes 16... one of tires was done to about 20 psi, (Left-rear tire) but I can't imagine this would have this much effect. Would it? After repumping the tire I am back up to about 16.5 after a 10 mile trip. I have 99000 miles on the car now, although 16 is terrible I have been getting around 21-22 most of the time anyway. I do an even mix of city/HW, but I would expect more from the car in terms of MPG. Should I replace the o2 sensors? Is there somehing I can do to improve this.
I have also been having problems with starts. It takes a little bit of work for the car to get started. Could this be related? Fuel Pump or something fuel related?
Thanks in advance as always,
Nicholas
