and fired it up in the spring with no apparent problems. I also left it on its tires at regular pressures. The indie guy suggested the regular, monthly, starts for the reasons stated! So, on January 1 I will again start it up and see what noises arise, if, as you expect, the oil (synthetic BTW) drains down then (one month since last start) the lifters should clack like crazy - I didn't notice/remember last time I started it. I do crank the engine with the coil wire disconnected for a couple of cranks first though! I wonder if synthetic completely drains off a cylinder wall - perhaps I will dip screwdriver in dino and another in synthetic and feel the slipperyness of each after a month!
