95 900se t conv 2.o 82,000 miles

ok guys, I went to the dealer and looked it up on their parts screen. My failed part is called a tension pully, part number 4752879. looking down ,its smack next to the intake air box. its is black plastic probably 3.5 inches in diameter.
couple of questions (I dont know much about NG900s).

1. Do I change the idler pulley while at it (part number 4356127)? Im going to replace the belt. thats a given.

2. Whats the best way to loosen the belt and general tricks of replacing the pully.

PS a true sob story. last 6 months I spend around $3000+ and refreshened my 92 c900 t conv automatic(85k miles) . New turbo (dealer) and overhauled engine and head (indie). The rest by myself included water pump, cranks seal (twice ) belts, antenna mast, new heater valve new cd player, battery, new radiator, hoses (including the lower PITA hose) and so on. 500 miles later on a curve downhill almost hit an animal in the rain (i live in the hills). Tapped the brakes instinctively,
spun the beast around and smacked it against the curb . Almost a total loss.Then 2 days ago my 95 900 se smoked the surp belt.

Brothers , sisters, can you spare a Saab....
