Well up untill a week ago I owned 2 SAABs, a 1994 900s V6 and a 1987 SPG. I have also owned a 1986 900s.
the V6 was a great car over the 2 years that I owned it, putting over 65, 000 km on it. It never left me stranded and the biggest repair bill was a new clutch. The engine was powerfull and had nice linear power delivery, a really clean car, I got compliments on it all the time. I was quit fastiduous about maintenance and used synthetic oil and had the timig belt done at regular intervals on warranty.
Resale value is horrendous on that car, although if you are buying used and keep the car for a long long time that actually works in your favour.
I had what I thought was a fairly minor fender bender in a parking lot last week, looked like the front fender needed replacing and possibly the rad. Insurance adjuster wrote it off. I was paid out for the car and the new shox I had just put on it a couple of months ago. All in all I pulled out ahead money wise so I am not bitter.
Despite what others have posted the car treated me right.
