Welcome to the club. I'm having the same problem. Somehow my car doesn't like cold weather. Right after Christmas, I went to my parents house and oil pressure light came on. I drove back my car to ATL(about 240 miles). I was totally risking my car's engine, but I made it back. My pulley still make high pitch noise, and I just ran out of mfr warranty(pre Christmas 49789 miles and 50500 miles now).
I went to the indy SAAB specialist check the oil pressure and he said, there could be internal oil leak(70 bucks. ouch). The pressure level is fine when car is idling, but the car moves the light come again. Problem might be balance chain(est is about $1,500). I told him I have to think about it. I'm not a mechanic, so I have so clue what the heck does balance chain does. I drove it for about two weeks bow. I started to see less oil pressure light and I don't see it anymore. My car still makes pulley noise, but hopely when my aftermarket warranty kicks in I can change that for about $70. thanks for reading.
