I just bought a used '96 900SE 5-door with 62K miles on it. The previous owner had Pirelli P6000 tires put on, size 205/55. I am trying to figure out the reasoning behind this. Why would someone go to a higher ratio tire - is it because they wanted a better ride?
Anyway, are there any negative effects of having these tires? They have about 50% left on their treads, so while I would like to get my 'own' tires, I would like to keep these at least awhile.
