Matthew is right about the turbo layout but it should still be possible to fit the 9000 setup by mounting the T3 to the manifold in reverse as the cylinder heads are the same. You will have to rotate the turbine housings to point in the right place and also rework the oil/water & EGR feeds and drains to match the T3 & manifold, if you've got time and patience GO FOR IT !.
PS I have plans to do this myself as I have an old 9000 turbo and a recently bought 900 coupe.
