This doesn't seem to be a problem with contamination in the tank or in the fuel system. The vehicle runs superbly even when it is low on fuel. It's after you've removed the gas cap and added fuel (always premium) that it starts stalling. My gut tells me it has something to do with the vacuum that is created as you use up gas in the tank. Then when you remove the cap and release the pressure it starts acting up.
I guess a good test would be to remove the cap after it's been running fine for a couple days without adding any fuel and see if the problem occurs.
Any other insight is appreciated!
