I currently use Mobil 1 10w30 in my NG900 (2.3L), although I have gotten good service from regular dino oil in my C900 (182,000 miles and runs like new). Thanks for the magnetic plug link, I plan to get one (I meticulously maintain my cars). It seems that every car has a weak link somewhere (e.g. C900 pinion bearing; head gasket, 2.1L engine). Hopefully this is an isolated problem and not an inherent weakness.
