Yup, I looked into the Opel tuning route. Contacted a couple of tuners in europe that I found over the net from teh Opel enthusiasts web board, not unlike SAABnet, just not as cool.
Found one cmpany that had an upgrade chip that they said would work, had to send the ECU to them and it was over a thousand dollars. Nope.
Good luck.
BTW, the Bosch Platinum plus 4 plugs work but no better than stock, maybe even a little rougher. Save your cash.
The best upgrade I did for that car was the Koni shox. The Abbott sway bar did a lttle, not a lot, and the B&G springs were awesome in the corners ut rough on the bumps.
