I would agree that 16s produce hugely improved handling over 15s. The car will handle high speed turns much more stably/confidently with 16s. Actually, what produces this improved handling is the tire depth which changes from 60 series to a 50 series rather than the rim going from 15 to 16 inch. The down side is that the ride harshness is increased. IMHO - Saabs are compromised on 15 inch wheels, they really limit the cars potential. This is not only for racey drives, but also safety conscious drivers. Predictable handling is very important when trying to avoid a deer or another car at 45-80 mph.
