Go to a windshield repair shop. I think there is more wrong than what you caused changing the cabin filter (I do the same thing 2-3 times a year and have no leaks). 3M makes a product for resealing windshields available at an auto body supply store, if you want to tackle it on your own. I would find the leak with your significant other and a garden hose equipped with a pressure nozzle first.
