I have the opportunity to purchase either one of those cars and I wanted opinions on what you guys thought, so here it goes.
9000
134,000miles, 5 spd
usual features, aero rims, lower suspension, 2.3turbo engine, grey with grey interior. I have not seen this car yet, so I can't comment on overall condition, but as of right now the pictures I have seen of the car look good, and right now the asking price is 4,995, but this is negotiable.
900
92,000miles on car. 5 spd
this car was a victim of flood damage, so it is a salvage title, it has supposably 20,000 in repairs including a new engine, tranny, etc. it has the viking rims, imola red, excellent interior, and pretty good exterior. When I drove the car, 3rd gear was difficult to get into. price has been negotiated down to 7,000 but I feel that if I really try I can get it down to 6,500 and they are going to look into 3rd gear if I'm interested.
so what I am wondering is which do you guys think is a better buy, and which will give me the better reliability, also which is going to be easier for me to work on and upgrade. I currently drive a 1990 9kt cd, so the 9k is what I am more drawn toward, but I have always liked the ng900's also. sorry for rambling, any opinions welcome.
thanks, chris
