Not showing oil on the dipstick doesnt mean there is NOT any oil in the engine. the stick measures the oil level for the owners use and is not intended to give you an exact amount reading. which means once the dipstick shows low oil, it should be added. when it shows "no oil" it means that either you are low on oil or you have no oil. if you have been riding "her" around and it still running, it means you still have some oil in it and it is below the stick tickmark.
bottom line, stop riding it and add oil until you see the right level on the stick.
