Did you purchase the vehicle new or used?
Perhaps you have a vehicle with a modified ECU, which needs new plugs and the injectors cleaned. Use NGK BCPR6ES11's gapped to .035" or .039". Suggest Techron Concentrate to clean the injectors and combustion chambers.
For a modified ECU or with a MBC installed, the boost indicator will go well into the red and should run smooth and strong. Someone could have cranked down the wastegate actuator as well.
It it runs about 1/2 into the red and there are sudden power cuts, then the ECU is cutting the fuel delivery at the injectors as a failsafe. No harm it that. But that would indicate a problem with the BPC valve or its vac lines.
