Less than 10,000kms after installing Maptun Stage 1 ECU, clutch cable gives out. Tried the spring push-pull on the clutch cable and only able to get car out of reverse smoothly but cannot get clutch to release to allow shifting INTO gear.

Gave up and got it towed to dealer (perhaps a mistake). Dealer reporting that clutch had self destructed. Decided go with Swedish Dynamics Kevlar (cheaper than Abbott) Clutch Kit and OEM clutch cable. Waiting for it to arrive (2nd day air). Will post update when installed. Am I making a mistake? And should I look at a Quaiffe LSD at the same time while they have the tranny pulled?

Some comments: Maptun ECU upgrade resulted in a Dr.Jekyll, Mr. Hyde transformation, power, responsiveness all improved. Car is insanely fast relative to stock. Much satisfaction to be had in regularly spanking N/A 911s. Recommend you upgrade clutch when considering power upgrades of this nature.
