Just coming back from a lunch break in 93 degree weather in my '97 900S (80K) and had the AC on and fan on "3". Out of the blue, I can hear the fan stop. Nothing on "1" or "2", but it does work on "4", but the AC died, just blowing steamy air. After arriving at work, I stopped and started the car, pushed AC on and off and on again, no luck and fan still only works on "4". Was just leaving this Saturday for week's vacation. If anybody can shed some light quickly, perhaps I can get it into my indy and fixed in time.
