suggestions as to why a battery will drain down. As well, do check to ensure that the battery terminals are tight. Sometimes a loose terminal will allow enough current for the accessories but when it gets that request for starting the car it might not pass enough current. The best thing is to remove the cables, clean the battery posts and the inside of the cable ends, put dielectric grease on the posts and tighten everything back up. A word of caution, dont disconnect the battery unless you have the 'code' for the radio. The anti-theft feature is wonderful but only if you can restart the radio after a full battery disconnect. As others suggest, pry off the battery's cell covers and top up the electolyte, usually the amount of water required can be found in the left over (now cool) boiled water in a kettle (rather than using distilled water which in over 40 years of driving/battery maintenance I have never done and I have bought only 1 replacement battery in that time!). Good luck and please post your final solution/fix for the benefit of others.
