On Saturday I was searching this board and found an older post about this guy having the same problems I did. I was convinced I was getting over boost and it was not the DI's fault for the fuel cut under hard acceleration. TG in his post thread suggested to unplug the elec connector to the boost control valve. I did this and took the car for a spin. The boost gauge only want half way into the yellow and no fuel cut, ran smooth. So I was convinced that it was my BCV acting up so I picked up an new one from the dealer. Installed and tested, runs perfect now. Under full throttle the boost needle enters 1/4 in to red and settles back to the start of red eventually. Love that acceleration that snaps your head back!
The f@#*ing thing did cost $250Can with tax. What can I do with old one now, I mean can it be cleaned some how or is it just a very expensive paper weight now? What the heck fails in it?
Anyway thanks again TG for that old post.
