So how do you know its an 02 sensor? Could be a few things.
There are two sensors on your vehicle, one before the catalytic converter, one after.
The sensors can appear bad if they have a poor ground contact. Ground is through the threaded fittings and through the down pipe and cat. So one should measure the resistance to ground from the senor body, before condemming a very expensive sensor or two.
