I too have had the same problem with my '95 900S.

I checked the owners manual and it advises that you do not recirculate the air but more importantly that you DO NOT use the A/C in temperatures below 4Deg Celsius/39Deg Fahrenheit. It also advises on the settings for the heating in these conditions.

I followed these instructions and have not had a problem since. I would add here that in order to speed up the process I started off by removing the majority of the moisture from the glass with a chamois until it was at a manageable level.

Also it is not a good idea to leave the damp chamois, umberellas, coats etc in the vehicle as it only exacerbates the problem.

BTW I am from the UK and we do get a lot of damp weather..!!!!
