I was at fault and completely smashed it against the sidewalk (dont ask how). The engine run a short period of time before I realized that I smashed the oil pan and shut it off. After the oil pan was replaced I already put 3K miles and the car runs as good as ever, with the exception of the hole in the exhaust. So I think you will be fine as well.
