Some DI's fail at lower miles and produce various problems. If you are planing on keeping the vehicle, I suggest getting a new DI from eeuroparts.com. You will need one sooner or later anyways. So get it and try it. If your problem goes away, success. If it does not go away, you have a spare. Use the new DI until the problem is fixed if the new DI does not eliminate the problem, that way an old flakey DI is out of the potential problem set. After things are right, you can put the old DI in service and run it till it fails, with the new one in the trunk, which will save you a tow truck and money in the long run.
All DI's fail in time.
