Hello everyone;

I have taken the creative advice from the saab community and wrapped a the hose clamp around the tonneau motor to prevent that nasty grinding/chattering sound.

The top works??.....meaning, when I want totput the top down, the tonneau cover starts to raise up, it sticks and I get an error message. But if I help it with a nudge to get over that initial spot, the top operates fine from then on. It works fine when putting the top back up. It is just at the beginning when I want to put the top down.

I thought that I may have tightened the clamp to much that it was preventing a smooth flow of the motor, but I loosened it at various turns and it still does the same thing and sticks at the beginning.

Any ideas?
