All of Mobil's diesel oils are gasoline engine approved, so you have nothing to worry about. If you have any truck stops near you, they may carry D1. Or you can order it online (AV Lube has pretty good prices, but you have to buy 4gals at a time). NONE of the stores in my area carry D1; I've got to drive 50mi one way to reach the closest truck stops who do, & then it's $28gal. Dean buys it (online, I think) for his VW TDi, so he has it on-hand. I've been running M1 15W-50 in my non-turbo '90 C900 since last October, & it's given me no problems down to about 11*F (it's been colder, but I usually ride my bicycle). If your car's N/A, then Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 should provide excellent warm weather service (I'd say above 30*F; Mobil says it meets the tougher 10W specs). Detergents are generally higher in HDD oils, so regular use will clean out a lot of crud left behind by dino oil & Group III synthetics.
