In general, no issues depending on your needs... There are alot of cars out there and a lot of intended uses. For my needs, the Saab 900SET meet my needs to have a practical 4-door car that can handle 4 adults, has a hatch to allow occasional hauling of furniture, etc, and is fun to drive.
I will admit that I have made some modifications to get the 'fun to drive' portion where I wanted it to be. But when I purchased my 1998 900SET new in Nov. 1997, it was the best vehicle for my needs. Being something today, I would probably opt for a 9-5 Aero Wagon. But my NG900 is paid for and does eveything I need.
My particular vehicle has been ultra reliable and build quality has been very good, with the exception of a couple cheap plastic bits here and there.
