So Friday my car has the same misfiring problem that it has had since November...except this time it overheats right after. So i stop...get a tow...and send it to the shop PRAYING that this is something breaking finally that is the root cause of the misfiring problem.

Thermostat replaced, alternator was found to be not charging, and I did the front brakes cause it was time. Mechanic doesn't think the thermostat or alternator would cause the misfiring...so I pick up the car Saturday.

Only time the misfiring happens consistently is on the highway...so I take her out Sunday and go for a blast down the highway...25 minutes later...car is up to temperature...and starts to misfire. BAH!

Nov it started...and here's whats been done...
Plugs and air filter.
Tried a new DI cassette.
BPV cleaned and checked.
Thermostat.

Mechanic has even taken my car for a whole weekend and it didn't have the issue for him.

I'm running out of patience...I was thinking that a cement wall should meet my car I'm getting so frustrated.

My C900 is more reliable lately!!!

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

And worse off...I got a week off next week and I can't drive anywhere far because my damn car is unreliable on the highway. ARRGGGHHH!!!
