I replaced rear brake pads and rotors on 95 900SE this weekend and would like to offer some observations/considerations I made for future reference.

1. The caliper bolts were set in with blue locktite by previous installer. I used never-sieze but I think locktite is more appropriate to avoid loosening bolts by vibration (which the brakes may be subjected to). I would like to know what other DIYselfers are using.

2. For loosening parking brake, the star wheel on LH wheel is to be rotated one way (down) and on RH wheel is to be rotated the other way (up).

3. Rotor set screw is very helpful in aligning holes in hub, disk, and wheel. Try to save it or have a replacement ready in cae you destroy one.

4. Some people have used impact driver to remove the rotor set screw but I could not find a tool locally (at Sears and AutoZone) that could accept a small bit (#30 Torx). If others have this tool, I would like to know where to buy it.
