Fair point.
1. The engine caught but stumbled badly, then died. Commensurate with using up the residual pressurized fuel in the fuel line. Since then, not a peep. Again, the fuel doesn't seem to be pressurized. As per my question (considering my Haynes is AWOL), where is the fuel pump. Is it in-tank or is it in-line?
2. Would all 4 coils in the DI fail? I'll certainly remove it and look at it (physical inspection) but how can I tell if the DI is dead otherwise? Probably Saab can tell with their scan tool but I have no other way other than asking to borrow a friend's car, and I don't have any friends with a turbo locally.
On the DI note, the coils seem to be held in individually. Can I find a "bad" DI and then transfer over one of the coils?
Thanks Dean. I do appreciate your shepherding of this crowd of NG owners despite no longer owning one.
