This is my cost of clutch jobs on the NG900
The very bare bone minimum for clutch replacement (and what most shops quote you when calling around)
Clutch disc, pressure plate and throwout bearing $700.00 Parts and labor.
Below is what I recommend as minimum.
Clutch replacement + reseal trans and rear main seal $820.00
Below is if you know that the cable is old or have been operating a worn clutch for awhile and maybe pushed to the limit.
Clutch, reseal and cable $900.00
Below is if you still have the old style shifter linkage and want to upgrade to 97 up style. This helps saving the reverse gear. It doesn’t work if the reverse gear has already started to pop out, but prolong the life of a working one.
Clutch, reseal, cable and update shifter linkage $1200.00
If the reverse gear is already popping out, the transmission needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
