Did front brakes this weekend. Thanks for post Dean Posted by Saabstory [Email] (#1919) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabstory) on Mon, 27 Oct 2003 05:44:56 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I put new pads(pagid) and rotors(Zimmerman) on my 96 900. Followed Dean's excellent post for this. I had original pads(still had glue to caliper on outboard pad) and rotors on the car with 125000 miles! My master cylinder overflowed despite pumping the brake after doing one side. Maybe should have started the car to build pressure in the system. Springs were not difficult to put back as others have said. Do I need to bleed the brakes now ? Guess it overflowed because of only about 3mm of pad left and added fluid to resevoir over the years to commpensate for this.
