$200 per side is probably reasonable.
Sachs/Boge OEM rear shocks are about $100 each. Figure they will charge 1 hour install per side at big city labor prices ($90/hr?), plus tax and there you are.
It only took me 45 minutes per side though!
I replaced my rears a 110K. I never thought they felt too bad, but was leary about the rust all over the shock tubes. Man what a huge difference. I can't believe I drove around with those in such bad shape.
