Saturday, May 4 is the New Jersey Saab Club's rescheduled tech session at Swedish Car Service in Bound Brook, NJ that was postponed from last November by hurricane Sandy. The "tech" part involves work by Saab-trained Tibor Ambrus on one or two participants' Saabs to provide the technical demonstration for attendees. As with past sessions at Swedish Car Service, this is also a social gathering with food and door prizes so don't let the "tech" part scare you off. There is no admission cost for this event.
Attendees can gather at 10 AM for coffee, donuts and visiting, with the tech session starting around 10:30 AM. The session will conclude around 12:30 PM with lunch and door prizes. Please RSVP to Todd Forte (tcld40@comcast.net) by Monday, April 22 if you are planning to attend and provide the names of those coming. Also, direct any questions you may have to Todd.
And, if you would like your Saab to be a tech session candidate for a minor repair or upgrade (pay for parts but free labor), suggest your need to Todd and he will coordinate with Tibor to identify the best one or two candidates. Initial thoughts are for a volunteer classic 900 or 9000 and a 9-3 or 9-5.
Address and phone for the event location:
