day, too. Absolutely a great drive and so glad to see everyone participate -- both the drive as well as those who could only make the Barbeque.

Special thanks to Wendell -- great spread of hamburgers, Keilbasa, chilli and beans, and to Tom Mitten, our long-distance winner, with a great salad (though I didn't get a taste at the Barbeque, I have today -- Yummy!).

Thanks for the contributions -- WASSAAB was going to pay for the grub, however S&S have refused and covered it already. Therefore, I'll be forwarding everyone's contributions ($105) along with the $500 I had set asside for the food to go to the American Heart Association -- only fitting, I believe, after Rick's new heart last year.

Perhaps we can make that the norm in future Saabarbeques!

Thanks again, and watch the WASSAAB space for upcoming events in the coming weeks and months.

Bartek, one Large "Got Boost" T-shirt coming your way. And best of luck with your coming day next week to you and your family! TWINS! Wow!

(If there were others who had asked about the T-Shirt, let me know -- lots of conversations, and donations hitting my hands toward the end of the day....).

Unfortunately my camera battery had died, so I have virtually NO pics. Anyone who took pics (Frank, Hirst, Mitten, anyone) post and share please!

As many of you know, I'll be on work travel until the end of the week, but I'll post a write-up to submit both here as well as in Nines when I get back.
